Cancellation and Refund Policy
Introduction
We understand that plans can change unexpectedly, and we strive to accommodate our customers as best as possible. Our cancellation and refund policy is designed to provide flexibility and clarity. Please review the details below to understand our policy regarding cancellations and refunds.
Cancellation Policy
Definition: Venue Seeker’s request for canceling/amending/postponing a confirmed booking (post payment to the platform) including requests for any change in booking date, change of venue, change of event type will be considered as cancellation and refund policy (see below) will apply.
Procedure:
- Advance Notice Required: Cancellations must be made in writing via email to our customer support team at support@mehfil.com.pk
- Cancellation Confirmation: Cancellations are not confirmed until you receive a cancellation confirmation email from us. Please ensure you receive this confirmation to avoid any misunderstandings.
Refund Policy
Refunds are processed in 30 working days from the date of cancellation confirmation email. Refund amount as applicable, will be transferred into Venue Seekers bank account or dispatched in form a cross cheque only.
The refund amount varies based on booked event date as follows:

| Less than 7 days before the event | No refund | N/A |
Important note to calculate ‘total amount’ for refund & processing fee calculation:
Total Amount = Total Price Paid for Booking (–) Minus Platform Fee (–) Minus All Applicable Govt. Taxes Charged
Cancellation/Refund request by the Venue Seeker due to Unforeseeable Event:
Request for cancellation/refund due to events such as weather situation, law and order (strikes/dharna/political activity/road closure etc.), earthquake or any similar unforeseeable macro reason on the booked date will not be entertained by the platform whatsoever.
Cancellation Triggered by Mehfil/Venue Manager:
In case cancellation for booked event is triggered by the platform Mehfil and/or its Venue Manager due to any unforeseeable reason, Mehfil will offer the Venue Seeker options of an alternate venue for the given date within the similar/comparable vicinity or 100% amount refund (excluding platform fee and taxes charged for the booking).
